just one sweet* song to get me :by...

Monday, April 5

And so, excited as I am about my upcoming beach getaway, I tried to check the weather forecast for the shortlisted destinations on various Malaysian websites.

I stumbled upon this page that gives cryptic weather forecasts:

Sarawak
Sibu, Sarikei, Kapit and Sri Aman

Weather fair.
Elsewhere

Well firstly, I liked the poetic ring of "weather fair. elsewhere"
It made Sarawak seem mystical, just almost.

Secondly, I spent a long while trying to decipher the picture, since it looks uncannily like

So is the difference
1) It rains in the night/it rains in the day
2) There are no rain clouds/there are rain clouds
????

Thirdly, I realised that our holiday destination, Sibu, is true to my dad's words, in BORNEO.
Now that is quite an exciting thought since I have not had a Malaysian beach holiday anywhere except on Peninsular Malaysia. In addition, I have spent 19 years of my life hearing stories of my relatives in Sabah/Sarawak who are as tall as 2.0m, and you must realise that it is a highly exhilirating thought to actually be sharing the same shores as them soon.

Weather aside, I woke up 10am today despite having SUPPOSED to wake up at 7am and go to work. OOPS.

FOR NOW...I am about to collect a SHITZU named JOE (going to attempt to change his name to something cuter) from my aunty and bring him home... Can't believe we're getting a third dog... Not that I'm not looking forward to it. =))

i feel stupid but its something that comes and goes:i've been changing think its funny how no one knows:we dont talk about the little things that we do without:when that whole mad season comes around || and you've been so busy lately that you haven't found the time to open up your mind and watch the world spinning gently out of time
